TRANSFERS

(Transferencia en Español)

The mission of Tulsa Public Schools is to provide quality learning experiences for every student, every day, without exception. Tulsa Public Schools is committed to increasing educational opportunities for our students. We have a rich heritage in providing educational opportunities which enable all students to achieve their highest potential. Our magnet schools provide opportunities for your child to focus on his or her special interests while receiving a solid foundation in traditional academic areas. These are designed to give each student a variety of options. We further intend that this transfer process be as uncomplicated, equitable and transparent as possible.

Some magnet schools have a competitive entrance process, requiring an entrance examination, interview, or audition. Other magnet schools use a lottery system. Most magnet schools concentrate on a particular discipline or area of study (such as International Baccalaureate, Micro Society, Language Immersion, Fine and Performing Arts, Restaurant, Lodging and Health Management, Scientific & Technological Utilization, and Broadcasting and Digital Media).
